With all the abundant goodness in the air it’s hard to do anything but smile these days. As we bid farewell to 2014, we welcome the new year with a positive outlook for what the future will bring, appreciation for the good fortune we hold in the present, and nostalgia and respect for the past .
At Camelback, we are buzzing with joy about the big handful of quality local products that we know will blow you away. Flora Apothecary is an enlightened beauty line that’s worth your attention. These herbal and botanical products (for men and women) are all natural, vegan, free of harsh chemicals, and local! So many good things coming from Flora, we have to give them a nod.
We’re also excited about The Simple Farm’s amazing salted goats-milk caramels:). These sweets are straight from The Farm, located right in Scottsdale, and have won recognition from the Good Food Awards for being so ridiculously delicious. We are also carrying yummy Beehive Chocolates. These lil’ sugar babies are made locally, fair trade certified, and a portion of their proceeds benefits honeybee research and conservation! What could be better than that?? Pretty much nothing except maybe local talent Ian Christiansen’s ridiculously adorable and quirky -pop art terrariums. He crafts teeny fantasy worlds using live moss inside these unique planters and I must say, they are certainly smile worthy.
Ok so my last bit of gush-worthy insight to what’s going on at our new spot: the art wall!!! We’re showcasing some seriously radical stuff from a couple artists that we’ve been known to love, and some new ones that we’re so excited to share :).
While our wall showcases lots of our favorite artists, I must shed light on the blush worthy flower-art that our florists are creating every day. With the new year comes new inspiration for everybody in the shop. Good thing Valentine’s Day is coming up to give you all an excuse to come see;)!!
And don’t forget Friday Happy Hour 1-6pm where all premade florals and stems are 50% off, and the good times are free!-XOXO

We got festive with it today and enjoyed a spectacular ugly sweater day, and amongst all the busyness we even lunched on a little shop potluck. Enjoy our festive photo and wherever you find yourself this holiday season we wish you happiness and wellness!

Well, we had a blast at our grand opening yesterday! Our friends (old and new) and neighbors made the day so very special and memorable with their generosity and excitement. We were so pleased to usher in the next chapter of flower shop history with such a great sense of community. A thousand thank you’s to everyone that reminded of us of why we love to call this little spot of earth our home!

We are getting into the spirit of fall (that’s a thing right?!) here at Camelback Flowershop! Pheasant feathers & mossy branches remind us of what we imagine an English hunting party mixed with a flower picking excursion would be like. So in acknowledgement to the good lords and ladies over the pond pull out your Hunters, grab a warm beverage and come on down and have a woodsy forage with us!
